The Courses

The driver's function is often specialized in fields not related to driving. The vehicle may only be a means of transportation to perform some other duty elsewhere or to carry the necessary equipment for the driver to perform their primary task. Our courses address the need to operate the vehicle safely and efficiently, instilling confidence and control in the driver’s task.

Public Works Vehicle Safe and Efficient Operation

  • Public works courses can cover the efficient operation for a wide variety of vehicles, ranging from automobiles to large trucks.
  • Because public works vehicles often need to be operated in adverse driving conditions, drivers benefit from the knowledge and skill learned to give them increased confidence in safe vehicle operation.
  • Physical fatigue can play a role in safe operations. Depending on the job requirements, an employee may need to operate the vehicle longer than anticipated. By learning proper driving techniques, the operator will not fatigue as quickly.
  • Through the use of our low-speed high-stress methods, students gain increased confidence in their ability to apply efficient driving techniques and operate a variety of specialized public works vehicles.
